Collier, Pinellas, Hillsborough Back Ten Feet Planting Plans

Alright you folks in Collier, Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties! Back Ten Feet Planting Plans are now available for you! These plans use Florida plants native to your planting zone that are drought tolerant, able to handle alkaline soils ("improved" lots, trucked in soils) and can also take a cold spell. They also provide food for birds, butterflies, other pollinators and suburban wildlife; offer protection and resting and nesting sites; have colorful, fragrant blooms (for you!) and protect your home from wind events while cleaning the air and water.  Also, they do not interfere with power lines.

Do NOT amend the soil, do NOT add fertilizers or pesticides EVER, and use organic mulch ONLY, and these plants will do just fine.  Be sure to visit the native nursery closest to you, learn more and enjoy adding more natives in the future based on your particular conditions. The native nursery owners and employees will be happy to help. These plans are saved permanently under Back Ten Feet Planting Plans on this website.  All plans are in alphabetical order by county name.
