Small Changes at My Place

I've only been in the new place for a few weeks, and have started on a few things. It's important to only do a little at a time so I'm not overwhelmed. That goes for you too! All along the side fence line, weeds and category one invasive exotic Mexican petunia have set up house. I'll be removing them one section at a time. Notice the fabric used to prevent weeds...it doesn't!  Seeds blow in on the wind, are dropped by birds, all the garden fabric in the world won't stop them. Spend your money on more native plants.  Notice the plants have ROOM to grow.
Dug up weeds and landscape fabric in one section

Just got in white tropical sage at All Native, LOVE it!

Native blue porterweed, looks a little chlorotic, will be fine now planted

Our typical red tropical sage. Fits the area nicely

Added some Florimulch over the red mulch that was there and all done!
Only 15 more sections to go....
