Adding a bird bath is fun and creative. As the shrubs fill in, it will need to be pulled further away so the birds can feel safe using it. Notice it is shallow, and made of a rough material that makes it easy for birds to safely land and stand in the water. This is also a place that will be used by insects such as bees and butterflies.
The white stopper has grown over a foot since planting!
Only a few months in, and the landscape is filling in. Just think what it will look like a year from now!
Can't say enough good things about our native beauty berry. Birds LOVE it, butterflies use the flowers and humans can eat the berries as well.
