A site where those who are concerned about clean air, water, and habitat for wildlife can learn more about how to help in their own back yards. This site will keep up with proposed legislation that affects our ability to keep our planet clean and green, and will help others find websites and services to learn more about living lighter on the planet.

Visit With Me at Native Plant Sale!
WHY: Native plant sales serve a dual purpose for this not for profit, 501c3 organization.
1. Education: It’s important for the continued protection of our local natural resources to help new locals understand the importance of native plant communities, the millions of dollars spent each year on invasive exotics, the role natives play in the reduction of fertilizer & pesticide use, and the necessity of natives in our home landscapes in order to provide food and housing for native birds, butterflies and other wildlife.
2. Fundraising: Native Plant Sales are the primary source of funds for our chapter. These funds are then funneled back into the community through native plant projects at schools, libraries, roadways, parks and other public places so residents can learn, and we can all benefit from chemical free, drought tolerant landscaping.
